17th Annual Meeting of the Society of Black Academic Surgeons

Dear Colleagues:

The Sociey of Black Academic Surgeons and the local planning committee for the Annual Meeting from RUSH University Medical Center and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County would like to welcome you to Chicago. We believe that we have organized a stimulating academic program and social activities that will be truly entertaining. In conjunction with the American College of Surgeons program planning and management group, the meeting witll be hosted at the Wyndham Chicago Hotel at 633 N. Saint Clair Street, Chicago, Illinois in the same building as the American College of Surgeons.

    I highly welcome everyone to attend the 17th Annual SBAS meeting being held this weekend in Chicago. So far it has been turning out to be an outstanding event for academic physicians and surgeons from all over the United States. People of all ethnicities have been present and are offering a great opportunity for networking, career advice, and advice regarding residency opportunities.
