National AIDS Marathon Training Program

The National AIDS Marathon Training Program

Our six-month training programs are geared to both beginners and experienced runners. The full marathon program starts with three miles of running and walking, and then gradually increases in distance. The half marathon program starts with just one mile.

Participants will receive free marathon entry as well as as a complete training program including running coaches, training materials, fundraising assistance, and weekly group runs. Participants of the Florence Marathon and the Las Vegas Marathon or Half Marathon will also receive roundtrip air travel and hotel accommodoations.

With your help, we hope to raise more than $1.25 million to support the AIDS Foundation of Chicago in its efforts to fund essential services for people with or at risk for HIV/AIDS in the Chicagoland area. By increasing AIDS awareness and funding direct medical care, food, housing, and other vital AIDS services, the AIDS Foundation is working to stop new infections while helping to keep people with HIV/AIDS alive until there is a cure.
